The way I’ve been programming most of the combat animation functionality (where the name of the attack animation to play is taken from the weapon) make it extremely impractical to fit it all into an AnimTree. Unfortunately and unlike an AnimTree, using the PlayCustomAnimation function doesn’t replicate animations to all clients in a server. Therefore I needed a way for my custom animations to replicate to all clients.
According to some users and my own experience, in UDK functions cannot be replicated to all clients in a server. It’s know that variables can be made to replicate on all clients though, so here’s where I got creative.
